Mona Lisa Project began in Venlo and has been running for twenty-five years. Not as a series of reproductions, but as a living artistic investigation: what happens when the world’s most recognised face is painted again and again, each time through a different lens? What remains? What changes? What does the painter bring that was never there before?

Mona Lisa 757 is one answer to that question. It stands on its own, complete, singular, unrepeatable. No other portrait in the project is this one.
